John Baylor graduated from Middlesex School in Concord, Massachusetts and then Stanford University. A brief career in banking convinced him that his true passion was teaching. Since returning to his boyhood home of Lincoln, Nebraska in 1994, John-- through his company, Baylor Test Prep-- has prepared thousands of students in Nebraska and Iowa for the ACT® and SAT®. John’s passion for teaching and his contrarian test taking techniques have inspired students and increased scores for nearly two decades.

Since 2003 Baylor Test Prep has gone into Schools during the school day to increase an entire high school’s average ACT® score from 1 to 3 points. John Baylor Test Prep is the online version of this entertaining, proven ACT® Prep course: a means to reach more schools and students so as to help even more achieve their college goals.

The online version available globally has required the lengthening of the name to John Baylor Test Prep, an attempt to placate Baylor University and avoid any confusion.
