LIVE! Online Study Sessions: Thursday, April 8, and Friday, April 9, 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM. Use your computer to get help from John Baylor! The Nitty Gritty.... What you need to know to participate. Entering the session: Upon clicking the Join a Meeting button below, you may be asked to install a download. If prompted, click Yes, Grant, or Trust to accept the download. This download ensures your computer will be able to support your participation. ![]() You will then either be prompted to enter your name and email address, or you will be notified the session is currently full. Enter your information and the Attendee Control Panel and the GoToMeeting Viewer Window will appear. If the session is full, please try to join again in 5-10 minutes. My computer has a microphone and I have headphones: After entering your name and email address, you'll be logged into the session. There will be a link that says "Audio Setup." Click on it and follow the directions to make sure you can hear the JBTP teacher and that your microphone is working. After closing the set-up window, you'll be ready to ask your question when you hear the teacher call your name. Headphones are mandatory to make sure there is no feedback in the audio. Please mute/unmute yourself by clicking on your microphone icon. Muting yourself is a polite thing to do when you are not speaking. That way any noise on your end of the line will not disrupt the conference audio. I'm not sure if my computer has a microphone: If you're not sure you have a microphone, you may enter the session and use the "Audio Set-Up" to find out. If you don't, or it's not working, you may still talk to your teacher using a telephone. I'm just going to use a phone for the audio: Please note, your call will not be toll free. It is a regular long-distance call and will use your mobile minutes or incur long-distance rates. To enter the conference, dial the conference call number. When prompted, enter the access code followed by the # key and then your unique Audio PIN. Use *3 to exit the audio conference and *6 to mute/unmute yourself. Muting yourself is a polite thing to do when you are not speaking. That way any noise on your end of the line will not disrupt the conference audio. Leaving the session: 1.
