John Baylor Test Prep (JBTP) Platinum ensures that you leverage that higher score into the Best College for You at the Lowest Cost: it’s your beginning-to-end College Counseling program.
- You’ll meet initially with John Baylor, in-person or via Skype, for your initial 90-minute Session, when we put together your desired college criteria, an initial list of colleges, a calendar for future diagnostic test taking and visiting colleges, a game plan for maximizing future financial aid (if applicable), a blue print for marketing your extra-curricular skill, and more.
- You’ll receive the JBTP Platinum Guide, our 132-page bible for getting into the Best College at the Lowest Cost.
- You’ll then be in regular touch with your JBTP Platinum Advisor to update your plan, regularly discussing your progress on the Big Three: the primary criteria considered by colleges for admission and financial aid.
- In the summer prior to senior year, application essay writing will begin in earnest. Your JBTP Platinum Advisor will help you choose the best topics for you and ensure that your writing includes the three key attributes that distinguish great application essays.
- Your Platinum Advisor will help you sort through your many options in the spring of senior year.
- We’ll help you weigh the benefits and drawbacks of transferring, should that become an option you’d like to consider.
Our goal is to ensure that you’ll have maximum options at multiple price points. We want you to graduate from the perfect college for you at minimal expense. We’ll provide you a full summary of all our discussions following each meeting. Cost:
$500 - you’ll receive an initial 2 hour Session with John Baylor and a Platinum Guide
$2000 - John Baylor will lead your initial 2 hour Session; you’ll then work with one of our excellent, experienced JBTP Platinum Advisors. John will personally review final drafts of essays
